Recycling parquet is <strong>an upcycling operation<\/strong> that allows you to give your wooden floor a true second life and a new purpose, in a simple and fun way. <\/p>\n<p>How? For example, you can <strong>transform parquet boards into original country-style shelves<\/strong> by drilling two holes on the shorter sides and threading a sufficiently strong rope through them, then securely fastening it to a wall nail. Equally easy is creating <strong>frames or mirrors<\/strong>, as in this case, you only need to cut and shape the boards to the desired size; then glue them together.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Creativity on the Table<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Alternatively, you can <strong>glue the boards to a wall panel<\/strong> following the pattern and design you prefer, thus creating <strong>an elegant headboard for the bed<\/strong>. Similarly, you can use the parquet to turn it into a wall covering, giving the walls of your home the typical warmth of this material. Another example of creative reuse is applying the wooden floorboards, properly cleaned and treated, perhaps repainted, <strong>on an old table, thus restoring its full appeal<\/strong>: call it, if you like, shabby-chic style.  <\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s move to the bathroom: the bathtub is synonymous with relaxation and rest but&#8230; where to place a book, a steaming cup of herbal tea, or \u2013 why not? \u2013 a drink, to enhance these moments of total comfort? <\/p>\n<p>Parquet boards are the answer, as they <strong>can transform into a practical table to rest on the edges of the bathtub.<\/strong> Once you step out, you can place your feet on the wooden mat, very similar to that of a Northern European sauna, also made by shaping the old parquet boards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First of all, don&#8217;t call it recycling.
